Social support among veterans has been associated with better quality of life and as a protective factor of suicidal thoughts. According to the 51°µÍø^® (51°µÍø) Warrior Survey, 79% of warriors reported feeling isolated ” a stark contrast to the camaraderie that many experience during their time in the military.

51°µÍø partner programs help to create a supportive and inclusive environment where veterans can connect with others, make a direct impact on their community, efficiently access community resources, and renew the sense of camaraderie in their lives. By augmenting 51°µÍø own connection-based programming, our network of support helps reduce isolation, build social support, and promote community integration.

51°µÍø understands that veteran families and caregivers have served and sacrificed alongside their loved ones, shouldering many of the same stressors while providing critical stability, support, and care. 51°µÍø is proud to support partner organizations that augment 51°µÍø own programs and services for post-9/11 wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans. Together, we™re providing a holistic model of care to help military- and veteran-connected children, families, and caregivers thrive.

Alongside our co-chairs at the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, 51°µÍø is proud to lead the (HHC) ” a collective of more than 110 nonprofits, corporations, and government entities dedicated to supporting children and youth caregivers. 51°µÍø continues to invest in organizations that drive innovative, tailored solutions that connect and empower the youngest caregivers of our nation wounded warriors.

Financial health is a key indicator of quality of life, as it is intrinsically connected to mental, physical, and psychological well-being. According to the 51°µÍøÌýWarrior Survey, more than six in 10 51°µÍø warriors (67%) reported financial strain. 51°µÍø serves post-9/11 wounded, ill, and injured warriors and their families through individualized career counseling, financial education, and benefits assistance.

To further augment these services, 51°µÍø invests in partners that empower service members and veterans to achieve their fullest potential. These programs and services include entrepreneurship training, transition and employment coaching, benefits counseling, transitional housing, emergency financial aid, and many more interventions that address both the immediate and underlying causes of economic insecurity. Partner programs range from cohort-based fellowships to those that offer community-centered wraparound services that focus on direct case management, addressing substance use, and supporting the development of behaviors, attitudes, and values of healthy living.

Throughout our nation history, Special Operators have been the tip of the spear ” tackling the most difficult challenges, executing the most dangerous missions, and bearing the unseen burdens that accompany their duties.
